Talking Rain, Makers of Sparkling Ice & Popwell
Talking Rain is an international beverage company with a portfolio of fun, approachable brands. I worked as part of the Brand and Marketing Design team, developing creative for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and in-store displays.
This illustration was created as a header image for the internal company-wide weekly newsletter. The Talking Rain corporate branding utilizes Pacific Northwest themes and elements as a nod to the Preston, WA headquarters.
For the product launch of the new Popwell line, we created a branded Amazon landing page. The Popwell brand includes playful, bright colors, cute stickers and a customized, youthful feel. I incorporated the sticker elements throughout the modules to bring the flavor and fun through the screen.
For the Popwell brand launch, I created a suite of Giphy stickers. These aided influencers and partners in promoting the new product line in a fun, organic way.
Tradeshows are an important part of marketing a consumer brand’s portfolio of products to vendors and partners. For the 2025 lineup, I created this booklet which showcases many of the core Talking Rain product lines, including the newly-launched Popwell brand. Each spread is designed to inform potential partners and vendors of the value of the product lines, as well as illustrating the personality and flavors of the products.
Influencer Gift Box
I created this multi-purpose sampler box, which is designed to be sent to influencers or retail vendor partners. On the exterior, it highlights the product lineup available in the region, the logo, and various fruits all around the sides. On the interior, there are two inserts available, one can hold 4 Sparkling Ice bottles and a travel mug, and the other a lineup of 6 bottles. The influencer insert with the spot for the bug includes a call to action to share the unboxing experience and tag the Sparkling Ice brand. For the 6-bottle display insert, I placed the brand’s tagline “Anything but Subtle” underneath the bottles, so that it is a surprise reveal as the recipient removes the products. When developing the concepts and design of this box, I mapped out user journeys for both types of recipients and boxes. This way, every detail was thought out and the recipient would have a delightful unboxing experience. Shown here is a to-scale mockup made in paper, the stills below show the full-scale production box with the influencer insert.
